Hi, my name is Lou and I make Peaki Pots. Peaki Pots are unique ceramic gift dishes that feature friendly little animals. They patiently sit and wait in the dish ready to look after treats, nibbles or trinkets for you, your friend, your relative or your special pet!
Peaki Pots were inspired by making a dish for my cocker spaniel, Peach, who we affectionately call Miss Peaki. As my clay room is based in the High Peak, the name ‘Peaki Pots’ naturally fell into place when I decided to make more dishes to sell as they have been so popular with family and friends.
Each new dish is created with care and attention and I’m always intrigued as the little animal characters emerge in my hands from the raw clay. Once they are fired, then glazed, the Peaki Pot animals seem to take on personalities of their own, each looking at me as if to say ‘I’m ready to meet my new owner please’!

I’d be delighted to meet you at the next Makers Market, where you are welcome to choose your ready-made Peaki Pot from my stand, or you can arrange to have one crafted with your own furry (feathered or scaled!) friend in mind, especially for you.
